Email Marketing Newsletter
Client: DEVENEY, an international PR and marketing firm based in New Orleans.
Client ask: Create a monthly newsletter to showcase our new blog program.
My Task:
As part of the inbound marketing efforts, the monthly newsletter consisted of entirely original content from the blog. I consistently ran A/B split tests to curate the best possible newsletter.
Outcome:
According to MailChimp's average industry rates, the newsletters I curated averaged above the open and click-through-rate for the marketing and advertising industry.
Our average open rate was 20.4%, nearly double the industry norm. With a CTR of 2.6%, we were exactly double the industry norm of 1.3%.
